Jaida’s Day 1

Whoa!  My room is so clean.  My mom spent 3.5 hours packing boxes full of my stuff while I was at school.

I’m Jaida, I am 10 years old and I am doing the social experiment #1.  It was my mom’s idea to try this experiment.  What we did is, we boxed up all the toys, clutter and junk in my room and put it in the shed for one month.  When I got home from school, I went straight to my room.  I felt free and excited because my room was so clean.
With my spare time today, I practiced piano and started and finished a reading book.
I am not missing anything right now because it is the first day.  But I bet soon, I will start to miss a few things.
I don’t think I brought anything new into the house today.
My mom says most of my stuff I can just get rid of, but I don’t think so… yet.  In the shed there are about 23 boxes with my stuff.  Some of the things are:
  • crafts already made – 3 boxes
  • craft materials and kits – 10 boxes
  • stuffies – 3 garbage bags
  • LEGO – 3 boxes
  • books – 1 box
  • collections (rocks, notes, buttons, etc) – 2 boxes
  • other things – 1 box
My mom said that my brother’s room was way easier than mine.  His room only took an hour and a half / 10 boxes.
Wish me luck!
Jaida
