Michele Romano

Michele RomanoMichele Romano is many things; a minimalist, a runner, a mom, a partner, an engineer, a software developer, a writer, a traveler,  a biker, a hula hooper, a girl who likes to have fun.

Michele’s educational past is somewhat like Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  She completed a Biomedical Engineering degree but she thought that was too hard.  Then she completed a Bachelor of Education and she thought that was too soft.  Finally she completed a Masters of Software Systems which she thought was just right.  She worked very happily as a Web Developer for many years. Now she is just a part time developer while she explores other passions like writing blogs and children’s books.

Michele is also homeschool mom at the moment so she can travel with the kids more. You can read about it from Jaida’s point of view at travelscool.com. She and Jaida are learning how to write for the web with treesdolisten.com and progressiveschooling.com.

Michele enjoyed blogging during some of her big family trips.  The first was a month long adventure in Costa Rica with a 4 and 6 year old.  The next was a trip to Europe with kids 6 and 9 years old. Then Japan and Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Utah/Colorado/Idaho, France/Morocco/Spain and her solo trip to South Africa
